MyFitnessPal's barcode-and-database logging is fast and its database is enormous — a real strength Life OS doesn't try to match. What it can't do is set your protein target from this morning's actual bodyweight, or know that a hard session yesterday changes what today's macros should look like.

When MyFitnessPal is still the better fit
If most of what you eat is packaged and barcoded, and logging speed for that specific case is the priority, a huge barcode database is a real advantage a general photo-and-text logger doesn't match yet.
When it's worth switching
If most of what you eat is actual meals rather than packaged items, or you want your calorie target to move with your training load and your protein target to move with your real bodyweight instead of a number you typed in once, that's the part a standalone calorie counter can't do.
